Choose one match
Read the teams, format, start time and status. Starting with one fixture keeps the learning task contained.

Open rules before selection
Note team composition, role limits, scoring categories and the deadline shown live.

Build a balanced team
Select only players who fit the current rules and whose expected role you can explain.

Choose C and VC
Check the current multipliers, then assign the two roles intentionally rather than automatically.

Recheck line-ups, status, contest conditions and personal limits before confirming.
BUILD UNDERSTANDING
Your first objective is a repeatable process
A beginner does not need to predict every outcome. The useful skill is being able to explain why a player fits the role, why a Captain choice affects more of the score and where the current rules can be checked.
Keep the first session small. If the rules, deadline or contest structure are unclear, stop and learn that part before adding another decision.
